Motivation

Safety intrigues us.
That is why we have formed a team of people who use their talent to contribute. technological, social or scientific. We think that we must constantly innovate in order to get a serious role within the developments in society and to guarantee safety.

Ambition

We want the world to be safer and more secure.
To this end, we come up with all kinds of innovations and participate in various initiatives. We cannot do this alone and challenge everyone to actively contribute to safety. The first step is realizing and recognizing that passivity makes the world more unsafe. The second step is an active positive involvement in the functioning of society. The SafeCity team stimulates, facilitates and takes initiatives for all kinds of projects that have an impact on increasing safety and combating insecurity. We do this in co-creation and usually we work in a triple helix context, companies, governments and educational institutions. Run with us for a Safe & Sound Society

We have already taken these steps.

We received February 2020 a pioneers grant for a benchmarking idea of the reliability and integrity of Apps and IOT devices: CALLFORTRUST. We are working hard on it, follow us.
Every year we organize in the Netherlands a Safety & Security Atelier where organizations can ask solutions about safety and security dilemmas.
When we see new innovations / developments that contribute to safety, we will talk to this organization for global deployment.

We have set up all kinds of projects, sometimes successful, sometimes it was not adopted.

- New way to detect chemical drug labs The whiff catcher;
- New platform for safety and security networking VI-platform;
- The Anonymous Witness Box - an anonymous crime reporting system across Europe;
- PASSANT - detecting smuggling in logistic hubs passant.info;
- Safe on the Street - various sensors that make you feel safer outside your home;
- Firebee - a mesh system for the fire service to communicate everywhere.
We started developing a notification App with live streaming video for reporting unsafe and insecure situations. "The SafeCity App" We won the Social Innovation Award in 2010.
