Being open to innovations
I constantly come across great applications that really contribute to more security. Unfortunately, organizations (companies and governments) cannot embrace all novelties. Sometimes it is about money, sometimes about guts, sometimes the added value of the products is not really known and sometimes the organization needs to be adjusted so much that time is lacking. For a number of innovative products I would like to make a point and use my network to ensure that these products actually land and be put into use.
LiveEarth
Live images link together so that we can see exactly what is going on.
In Canada I came across LiveEarth and was immediately sold.
They place all kinds of data and sensors on Google Earth.
The public date and sensors are unlocked, for example aircraft and shipping movements.
But also cameras and important security-specific data.
The user can also enter their own closed data and visualize it.

How reliable and ethical are all Apps and IOT devices?
What is the benchmark of reliability?
Apps and IOT devices will be compared on this site for their reliability.
For example, we investigate how developers / suppliers deal with the GDPR rules, how secure the data storage is, whether the data is mixed with other data, or whether the app does what it should do.
We started a movemement with a platform where we challenge the question "What is online reliability?" end we assess online products with the online trustability indicator.
